It's been a long time since I wrote my last post here.

That's only because I was, and currently I am, too busy. Many things are happened and I'll tell you more asap, I promise.

I decided to break my forced silence, with a photo that I love a lot.

I love it, just because of two things: I shot it from my room's windows, and I absolutely LOVE this warm, yellow, sunset's light :)

European Crankworx 2012!!!

Last weekend I was in Les2Alpes for the european edition of the famous mtb festival, Crankworx!!!Unfortunately I've been there only for three days, due to my every day work, but I really loved it!!!

Val di Sole 2012!!!!

All I can say it's just one word: AWESOME!!!!

As usual, also this year the UCI downhill World Cup circuit has stopped in Val di Sole, Italy.

I went there like every year I do, just for fun and passion. I met Vittorio Platania, my boss at Tri ride (triridemtb.com) that asked me about shooting the whole round of the WC for Tri ride!!

In about 0.5 seconds I became the happiest man on the Earth!!! This was the first work I was doing, in an international, non-european, context!!

I've passed two awesome days, shoting with a fucking constant smile, talking with great photographers like Colin Meager, Victor Lucas and my idol Sven Martin!!!

I realized two different galleries, one for the qualifications runs and the other one for the finals:

Saturday evening took place also the 4x pro tour round, I've always shooted 4x when it was matched with the downhill races, so I didn't gave up and I took some photos. Unfortunately they're not so many also because I forgot my flash and triggers at home, so the light wasn't the best, and I went to the final quite late, just after have sended the qualification's gallery at the editorial staff of Tri ride.

And so, the season has begun!!

Well, the downhill race season is well started and I had already followed some events here and there.
Firstly I was in Switzerland for the first round of the IXS European Downhill Cup, precisely at the Monte Tamaro.
I was there also in 2011, I really like the track and the feelings that this race give to me. This year, like two years ago, the race was cancelled for the bad weather, anyway I was there working for Tri ride and I've anyway produced a gallery with the photos of the saturday's practice runs.

After Monte Tamaro, I went in Sestola, for the first round of the italian downhill championship, called Gravitalia!! I went there on friday evening, with my boss for the Gravitalia's races Romano Favoino. It was a cool weekend apart for the sunday rain and the saturday's late evening earthquake quite near our village that has caused few deads and some destroyed village :(

Last weekend I was in Leogang, Austria. I was there with my girlfriend, to shoot both the 2nd round ot the IXS circuit and the gold event of the FMB world tour, the 26trix contest.
I really loved the place, the organization, the races, the weather, the people :)
